Our team manufactures equipment like strainers, meter provers, sphere detector switches, and other products so each machine will have the exact piece that it needs to operate efficiently. Aside from our selection of permanent strainers, we also have temporary and start-up strainers so you can get your machine running as quickly as possible while you wait for the permanent pieces to come in. See our temporary strainers here!
The cone strainers are ideal for temporary applications. They can be installed with cross bracing to prevent collapse and they can also be inverted to obtain a higher percentage of open area in a tight piping situation. Composed of carbon steel, stainless steel, and chrome moly, the temporary cone strainers are built to withstand a variety of different environments. The cone strainers are temporary for liquid or gas equipment but they can also be used permanently in certain applications.
Much like the cone strainers, our truncated basket strainers are typically used in temporary applications. The truncated style is designed to fit in shorter spaces than cone strainers while still maintaining the same amount or even more open area. They can be used in horizontal or vertical pipe runs, making them the perfect solution for any piping system. The truncated basket strainers are also composed of carbon steel, stainless steel, and chrome moly and they can also be used permanently in certain applications. Our truncated basket strainers can fit into smaller spaces than our cone strainers while still performing the same functions.
Our selection of temporary strainers will ensure that your jobsite stays running as smoothly as possible as you wait for your permanent strainers to arrive. Contact us at Weamco today for more information!
